The room was excellent with very comfortable beds and clean bedlinen. The hotel in general was very clean overall. We loved the architecture of the building, and the excellent location. It was a tad old fashioned in the bedrooms, but that was what we both liked. It felt very welcoming however, with the bedrooms having fitted carpets instead of the usual, noisy laminate flooring - with us both having two very lively young children with us (9 and 10 years old). We found the staff really nice to talk to, and were always polite and helpful. The main receptionists, Julien, was really pleasant chap, and we hit it off with him very quickly. Also the darker haired, shorter, older lady who made up the breakfasts each morning was really nice too (though she did not speak that much english, we really got on well with her) The breakfast's were suburb with a wide choice of fresh pastries and croissants, meats and cheeses etc. The glasses and crockery were always spotlessly clean too. Rue des Martyrs, (in the next street) is highly recommenced for shoppers looking for great wines, pleasant cafes, and some great shopping. Overall we loved the hotel and are definitely intending to return, using it as our base to explore a lot more of beautiful Paris. Many thanks to Julien, and all the staff at Hotel Antin St Georges!

Booked Hotel Antin St George as a reasonably priced 3 night option for the Paris Olympics. Stayed with my wife and three children, had two adjacent rooms, and despite reading numerous negative reviews about the hotel, I have to say that this hotel was excellent and more than lived up to our expectations. Quite basic, but excellent value, with clean, comfy rooms and excellent bathrooms ..... and an absolutely fantastic location (just South of Montmatre), with the Metro around the corner and loads of great value bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Chose not to have breakfast in the hotel as we were out and about fairly early, but this was an option should we have wanted it. I honestly can't fault, and can only assume that the negative reviews are from customers more used to stopping in 4 and 5 star accommodation, and expecting similar from a budget hotel.

The location was brilliant. A minutes walk from the metro station at St George’s and less than 19 minutes walk to the TLS Visa centre -ideal! Having phoned the night before to ask for the best metro route to the Hotel it was provided - very simple using Metro line 1 to Concorde and then changing to line 12 to St George’s. It took all possible stress out of my journey from Gare de Lyon to Sr George’s. Very good location

It’s a perfect location in a beautiful area lots of lovely cafe bar’s and restaurants. We found the guy on reception exceedingly nice and helpful. We arrived at 11am check in was 2 and we were hoping to leave our suitcase until check in. He said they don’t hold luggage but made effort to get our room cleaned early and let us check in 45 mins later. They were also helpful when my son needed a charging adapter

The location was great - within walking distance to most important monuments and places of interest and the neighbourhood was nice and safe. We had a pleasant view on Paris rooftops from the little balcony. The staff was very nice and helpful.
